Technical questions specific to the HV high-voltage LED strip series (AC220V/230V).

Are high-voltage strips safe?

They operate at AC220V – a hazardous voltage. Safety precautions are essential. Installation must be performed with the power off and ideally by qualified professionals. For indoor areas, especially children’s spaces, we do not recommend HV strips.

What are the best applications for HV strips?

Warehouses (ceilings over 8m, single circuit 50m to save costs), commercial atriums (100m continuous light bands), and building outline lighting (reducing power feed points). Also suitable for long outdoor contour lighting where high precision is not critical.

Can HV strips achieve a dot-free effect?

It is very difficult. Achieving the seamless, dot-free uniformity of COB low-voltage strips is challenging – individual LED dots are usually visible.

Can HV strips be dimmed or intelligently controlled?

Control capabilities are limited. Generally only basic on/off and simple dimming are available – complex dynamic effects or fine dimming are not feasible.

What is the maximum laying length of a single high-voltage strip?

Depending on the model, the single longest laying can reach 50–100 meters, with basically no brightness attenuation, which is incomparable to low-voltage strips in long-distance engineering.
